Physical Therapist Assistant - Cavalier, North Dakota

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in North Dakota, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, families, and educational staff
• Understanding of IEPs and documentation requirements a plus
• Ability to adapt to a school-based schedule and manage a varied caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Support students with mobility, motor skills, and physical functioning in accordance with their individualized education plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to integrate therapy into the school day
• Maintain accurate progress notes and assist with required reporting and assessments
• Educate school staff and families on best practices for student physical well-being
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to school-based therapy
