Qualifications:

  • Current, valid PTA license in North Carolina
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with teachers and staff
  • Ability to assess and implement treatment plans alongside Physical Therapists
  • Knowledge of best practices, documentation, and compliance in school-based settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing therapy services to students, supporting individualized education plans
  • Support the implementation of motor skills activities, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive strategies
  • Document progress and maintain necessary records according to school requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute insights, and adjust plans as needed
  • Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for students to thrive academically and physically
