Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid PTA licensure in Oregon
- Certification meeting state and district standards
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other therapy professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced educational environment
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their individual education programs (IEPs)
- Perform thorough assessments and collaborate on the development of treatment plans
- Work alongside licensed Physical Therapists, school staff, and families to ensure progress and safety
- Document therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records
- Support the broader educational team in fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments
- Adapt interventions tailored to student needs, age, and school activities
