Middle School Certified Physical Therapist Assistant - Hermiston, OR

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid PTA licensure in Oregon
• Certification meeting state and district standards
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other therapy professionals
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced educational environment

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their individual education programs (IEPs)
• Perform thorough assessments and collaborate on the development of treatment plans
• Work alongside licensed Physical Therapists, school staff, and families to ensure progress and safety
• Document therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records
• Support the broader educational team in fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments
• Adapt interventions tailored to student needs, age, and school activities
