Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
  • Familiarity with designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physical therapists, educators, and families
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability across PreK-12th grade populations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on therapy to students with diverse physical needs in a school environment
  • Work in partnership with licensed Physical Therapists to execute prescribed interventions
  • Track progress, document sessions, and communicate with teachers and families
  • Adjust treatment approaches to address the unique needs of each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams supporting student success
