Physical Therapist Assistant in High Point, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Valid PTA license in North Carolina
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in school or healthcare settings
• Understanding of pediatric therapy principles and school-based interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassion working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed PT
• Support students’ gross motor skill development and access to instructional programs
• Document progress and collaborate on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Communicate therapy needs and progress to families and school staff
• Adapt activities to ensure inclusion and student participation across all grade levels
• Manage caseload efficiently across PreK through high school students
