Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Madison, Tennessee

What We’re Looking For:

• Current or eligible Tennessee licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is an advantage, though not required
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation for travel between various district school locations
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students as directed by the district’s licensed Physical Therapist
• Support students in meeting mobility and independence goals within the educational environment
• Assist with implementation of individualized treatment plans and document progress as required
• Collaborate with supervising PT, teachers, special education teams, and related service personnel
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student needs
• Travel regularly between assigned schools throughout the district based on student requirements
