A contract opportunity is available for an energetic, compassionate PTA who’s eager to work with children and young adults in a vibrant educational setting. You’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with an experienced district Physical Therapist, providing meaningful services at various schools across the district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Tennessee licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Confidence traveling between multiple school sites throughout the district
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindset
  • Well-organized and able to handle flexible caseloads
  • Reliable transportation to manage travel needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT
  • Promote students’ improved mobility and independence within educational environments
  • Assist in implementing and tracking individualized treatment plans and therapy objectives
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress per district guidelines
  • Engage collaboratively with therapists, educators, special education teams, and families
  • Contribute to meetings and IEP processes as necessary
  • Provide support across various locations as the district requires
