What We’re Looking For:

• A valid state license or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Prior experience working in a school, pediatric, or educational environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability in a school setting
• Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist with evaluations and data collection to monitor student progress
• Document sessions accurately and maintain compliant records in line with school and district policies
• Cooperate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support student inclusion and safety
• Instruct teachers and caregivers on exercises and adaptive strategies that promote student independence
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insight for student care plans
