Qualifications & Experience:

• Current license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability for a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy programs for students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Support students in achieving their physical therapy goals by providing direct treatment and interventions in line with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide input for team meetings
• Educate staff and families about strategies to support students’ physical development within the educational framework
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student independence and confidence
