Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina PTA license required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote supervising PT
  • Proficient in implementing physical therapy plans under virtual direction
  • Confident, adaptable, and resourceful in diverse school environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple sites as needed

Role Overview:

  • Provide on-site physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Follow and implement therapeutic goals set by an offsite supervising PT (VOCO PT)
  • Maintain adherence to all documentation guidelines and school/district protocols
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and reporting
  • Communicate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Adapt interventions and strategies to varied settings and student needs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education requirements
