Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Minnesota
  • Previous experience in a pediatric or education setting preferred
  • Familiarity with individual education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
  • Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with a passion for helping children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Support the implementation of treatment strategies to improve motor skills, mobility, and overall function
  • Assist with data collection and documentation related to student progress toward IEP goals
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and team members to optimize learning environments for students
  • Participate in meetings and help promote student success both in and out of the classroom
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with school district and state requirements
