Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near the scenic Mount Lemmon area! This school-based role offers the unique chance to provide direct physical therapy assistant services across two educational campuses—one in Tucson and the other in Oro Valley. You'll play a crucial part in each student's well-being, delivering a total of 150 minutes of in-person direct services each month. As the on-site PTA, you'll collaborate closely with a supervising PT who provides oversight virtually, ensuring integrated, high-quality care for students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Arizona
  • Prior experience in school-based therapy settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and virtual PT
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseload across multiple campuses
  • Confidence providing PT interventions to pediatric populations

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 150 minutes of direct therapy services per month, divided between two schools
  • Implement individualized treatment programs as directed by the supervising virtual PT
  • Document student progress and maintain up-to-date session notes
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Travel between Tucson and Oro Valley campuses as required
