Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina PTA license required
  • Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support students’ mobility and physical development
  • Passion for helping children achieve their highest potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct PTA services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with assessments and the development of treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities designed to meet each student's unique needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and provide regular updates to educational teams and families
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to support students’ success in the classroom setting
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student needs and progress
