Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Ability to adapt and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Comfortable creating and following treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining thorough documentation

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating students’ physical abilities alongside a supervising Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized therapy plans and track progress toward goals
• Provide direct support and interventions to help students participate in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt activities for students’ needs
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
• Educate school staff and families on exercises or activities that support each child’s physical growth
