Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Massachusetts
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Strong background in delivering PTA services within healthcare and school contexts
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Skilled at adapting therapeutic activities to suit a range of student abilities and ages
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy support services to students as directed by supervising Physical Therapist
  • Implement and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs and established therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure optimum student support and integration within the classroom environment
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as required for student care and compliance purposes
