Key Qualifications:
- Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) within the state.
- Prior experience providing physical therapy services in a school environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of pediatric therapy interventions, IEP documentation, and collaborative goal setting.
- Effective communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and other related service professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and initiative to handle a flexible, dynamic caseload.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to support students’ educational success and functional goals.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly document progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help create and implement IEPs in compliance with educational standards.
- Provide guidance to staff and families on strategies for improving students’ motor skills and day-to-day participation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
