Situated conveniently within an easy drive—just one hour north of Charlotte and thirty-five minutes south of Greensboro—this assignment is a great fit for a travel PTA seeking a school-based environment that values collaboration and student growth.

Qualifications:

  • Current PTA licensure (or eligibility) in North Carolina
  • Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) helpful
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work alongside teachers, therapists, and families
  • Committed to compassionate, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy support services as directed by a supervising PT
  • Work with students from PreK through 12th grade with a range of physical needs
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student learning and participation
  • Document services and progress in accordance with school procedures
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal development
