Physical Therapist Assistant in Salisbury, NC

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK–12th grade students as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a dynamic school-based environment. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapting therapy to diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage a consistent caseload across PreK through 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, teachers, and other school staff to develop and implement effective interventions.
• Maintain accurate records on student progress and document therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support student success.
• Foster an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere to help students optimize their physical abilities in the school setting.
