Key Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations is highly desirable, though not required

• Reliable transportation and readiness to travel among school sites in the district

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students as directed and supervised by the district’s licensed Physical Therapist
• Support and help implement individualized student treatment plans and goals
• Foster functional independence and promote improved mobility for students within the school setting
• Accurately document therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school and program guidelines
• Partner actively with the supervising therapist, teachers, special education teams, and related service providers to coordinate student support
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related activities as needed
• Consistently travel between 22 district school sites to meet student needs
