Physical Therapist Assistant in Thomasville, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Experience or interest in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Background in pediatric and adolescent patient support
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for varying developmental needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, tailored to individual student goals
• Implement and document treatment plans for PreK-12th grade students across a range of physical disabilities and developmental levels
• Collaborate closely with teachers, faculty, and families to support students’ achievement and integration in the educational setting
• Track and report students’ progress, participate in meetings, and contribute to IEP and 504 Plan discussions where applicable
• Maintain accurate and thorough records while adhering to all school district and healthcare regulations
