Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Experience or interest in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Background in pediatric and adolescent patient support
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for varying developmental needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, tailored to individual student goals
- Implement and document treatment plans for PreK-12th grade students across a range of physical disabilities and developmental levels
- Collaborate closely with teachers, faculty, and families to support students’ achievement and integration in the educational setting
- Track and report students’ progress, participate in meetings, and contribute to IEP and 504 Plan discussions where applicable
- Maintain accurate and thorough records while adhering to all school district and healthcare regulations
