Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites. This in-person role is designed for a driven Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) ready to work independently and help students achieve their mobility and functional goals under remote supervision.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Confident providing services across the K-12 age range
  • Capable of working independently while collaborating with remote supervisory PTs
  • Ability to adapt to various school environments and caseload needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy interventions for students with mobility, developmental, or physical needs, following established plans from supervising PT
  • Travel between school sites as scheduled to provide consistent, high-quality therapy services
  • Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records per district and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate professionally with school staff and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in virtual meetings with remote supervisor as needed for direction and feedback

Role Details & Features:

  • Contract position scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, from ASAP through May 2027
  • Onsite, in-person service delivery at multiple locations (no teletherapy)
  • Supervision provided remotely by a VOCO PT; must be comfortable with this model
