This full-time, contract opportunity offers you the chance to deliver essential support to students while collaborating with an experienced educational team. We're seeking two RBTs to start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year.
Your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician will be key to implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans and tracking student progress. You’ll find fulfillment in helping students achieve their goals, develop new skills, and thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RBT certification required
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a school environment
- Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students according to individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collect data on student behaviors and progress towards objectives
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collaborate daily with school staff and participate in IEP or team meetings as needed
- Communicate progress and concerns effectively to staff and families
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
