Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with children or adolescents preferred, especially in school or educational settings
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Demonstrated patience, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school professionals
- Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students implementing behavior intervention plans
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, other staff, and BCBAs to support positive student outcomes
- Provide reinforcement and coaching following behavior intervention protocols
- Monitor and proactively respond to student needs within the school setting
- Participate in team meetings and follow up on feedback for continuous improvement
- Assist with the general classroom environment as needed
