Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time School Position | Bogart, Georgia | 2026–2027 School Year
Seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time school-based position in Georgia for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is ideal for an RBT experienced in supporting students with behavioral needs in a structured classroom environment. The selected candidate will provide direct 1:1 behavioral support while working alongside classroom staff to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Classroom Setting: Adapted classroom (self-contained)
- Student Support: 1:1 support with a student in the classroom
- Behavioral Support: Students may demonstrate aggressive behaviors and require a structured behavioral approach
- Pay: $25.64–$30.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Openings: 1 RBT position available
- Preference: Male candidates requested by the client
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support student growth and skill development.
- Assist with communication, social skills, academic participation, and daily classroom routines.
- Support students during transitions and classroom activities.
- Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, and related service providers.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
- Experience working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs preferred.
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviors preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and ability to remain calm in structured behavioral situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
