Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT) required
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational settings
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptability to work within school environments and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering positive behavioral and academic outcomes
- Collect accurate data on student behaviors and interventions, contributing to progress monitoring
- Assist with creating structured learning environments that support student success and safety
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote consistency and effectiveness in behavior strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
