Registered Behavior Technician - Bear, DE

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-aged students in an autism program as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract, full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference within a dynamic educational team near Bear, DE. Candidates will work standard elementary hours (8:45 AM – 4:15 PM), with responsibilities spanning support, intervention, and data-driven guidance of students with unique needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral support to elementary students, implementing physical intervention strategies when necessary and appropriate.
• Collect and monitor both behavioral and instructional data in a classroom setting.
• Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Fulfill essential support duties, including assistance with toileting, diapering, hygiene, and other bathroom needs (non-negotiable).
• Remain adaptable to classroom assignments, assisting wherever needed to support program goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Delaware PARA Permit—both required.
• Prior experience within a school environment, especially with elementary-aged students, highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success supporting students requiring physical intervention strategies.
• Proven ability to collect, organize, and interpret behavioral and instructional data.
• Willingness and comfort in aiding with all aspects of student hygiene and bathroom duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full required hours with no schedule accommodations.
• Reliable means of transportation.

Assignment Duration: October 30, 2026, through February 1, 2027
