Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s Degree is mandatory
  • Previous experience working with K–12 students preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and able to respond to a range of student needs in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of supervising staff
  • Support students throughout their school day, reinforcing positive behaviors and assisting with academic and social activities
  • Collect data and document student progress for review and collaboration with school teams
  • Foster a respectful, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and other school professionals as needed
