Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification required
- OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s degree
- Experience working with K–12 students in educational environments preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion and patience when supporting students with unique needs
- Professionalism and reliability in all school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Special Education Teacher
- Provide direct one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions
- Assist classroom staff with strategies and accommodations to enhance student learning
- Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
- Adapt interventions to fit individual student needs and school requirements
