Seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician for a contract position supporting a 20-year-old male student with significant behavioral needs. This impactful opportunity extends through the end of the school year and is based in a vibrant high school community near Boston, MA. Work collaboratively alongside an experienced BCBA supervisor in a supportive educational setting that values evidence-based practice and meaningful student progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification required
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly in an educational or school-based environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Professionalism, patience, and adaptability in dynamic classroom situations
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule (8:00–2:30), or part-time (10:00–2:30) as needed
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA strategies and individualized behavior plans tailored to student needs
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and interventions
- Work in direct 1:1 sessions to foster skill development, independence, and positive behavior replacement
- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation
- Communicate progress and challenges with supervising BCBA and educational staff
- Support classroom routines and transitions, ensuring student safety and engagement
