Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s Degree
  • Current RBT credential preferred, or eligible to obtain
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassion, reliability, and a genuine commitment to student development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support for students, following individualized plans
  • Assist teachers and school staff in managing classroom behaviors and implementing interventions
  • Collect and document behavioral data to support student progress
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Support students through redirection, encouragement, and rapport-building
  • Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and parents to deliver high-quality support tailored to each child’s needs
