Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working with school-aged children in an educational, behavioral, or paraprofessional setting
  • OSPI Paraeducator Certification or possession of an Associate’s Degree (required)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized behavioral support and assistance to K–12 students during school hours, following established Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Collect, document, and maintain accurate data regarding student behaviors and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and school teams to implement strategies that promote positive student outcomes
  • Model appropriate behaviors and reinforce social skills to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment
  • Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs as you select your shifts
