Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s Degree
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral settings preferred
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics positively and professionally

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies under the supervision of school specialists or BCBAs
• Document student behaviors and progress using established protocols
• Cultivate a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages each child’s growth
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and activities as needed
