Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational, behavioral, or paraprofessional setting
- OSPI Paraeducator Certification or possession of an Associate’s Degree (required)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized behavioral support and assistance to K–12 students during school hours, following established Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collect, document, and maintain accurate data regarding student behaviors and progress
- Collaborate with teachers and school teams to implement strategies that promote positive student outcomes
- Model appropriate behaviors and reinforce social skills to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment
- Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs as you select your shifts
