Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or comparable paraprofessional experience
- Completion of the RBT initial course, or several years working directly with students exhibiting intensive behavioral needs
- Active CDE or COOL license required
- Strong ability to adapt to varied school settings and student populations
- Confident communicator and team collaborator, able to work flexibly between multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support and interventions for K-12 students as assigned
- Collaborate closely with other educators, school staff, and support teams to implement effective behavior management strategies
- Assist in developing and maintaining behavior intervention plans
- Monitor student progress and document behaviors and outcomes
- Adjust approaches as needed to suit unique classroom and individual needs
