Registered Behavior Technician - Boulder, CO

Take your expertise in behavior support and make a real difference for elementary students with autism in an intensive learning center setting. This rewarding part-time contract role is perfect for a credentialed Registered Behavior Technician with a strong background in special education classrooms. What you’ll need to bring:

• Active RBT certification or significant previous RBT credentialing—candidates in training or requiring BCBA supervision are not eligible
• At least two years of hands-on experience in a public school special education classroom (facility-only experience will not be considered)
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctual onsite attendance
• Flexibility and a true team orientation
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Commitment to working independently under principal and special education director guidance

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with autism in an intensive learning classroom
• Delivering behavioral interventions and implementing individualized plans under the direction of school leadership
• Taking part in approximately 20 hours of work per week, generally 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Providing support only on student attendance days, with 2-3 days reserved for annual training
• Documenting progress and participating as a constructive member of a dedicated educational team

This is an on-site position in a supportive school community. The contract runs from October 1 through May 21, with all duties focused on the elementary school setting.
