Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Prior experience with teens or adults exhibiting severe behaviors and aggression
  • Familiarity with best practices in behavior management and de-escalation techniques
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a BCBA supervisor
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy to an adolescent client in a school environment
  • Implement treatment plans and data collection strategies as designed by the supervising BCBA
  • Respond effectively and professionally to severe behavioral episodes, adhering to safety and behavioral protocols
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, caregivers, and the supervision team to ensure consistent support for the client
  • Maintain accurate session notes, document progress, and regularly communicate updates to the BCBA
  • Utilize provided protective gear to ensure safety during sessions involving aggressive behaviors

This part-time contract position offers between 15 and 20 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while using their expertise.
