This part-time, contract position (15 to 20 hours per week) places you in a supportive educational setting near Athens, Georgia, where your expertise will be invaluable in supporting an individual student one-on-one.

Your responsibilities will include implementing tailored behavioral interventions under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collaborating closely with the supervising clinician, you'll monitor progress, adapt strategies when necessary, and maintain detailed session data to maximize each student's growth and safety. Protective gear is provided to ensure your safety while working with students with severe behaviors or aggression.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience working with adolescents or adults exhibiting severe behaviors and aggression
  • Familiarity with individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and compassionate in high-intensity situations
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and detailed documentation
  • Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 direct behavioral support to an adolescent client in a school setting
  • Implement BCBA-developed behavior intervention plans with fidelity
