Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time School Position | Stratford, Connecticut | 2026–2027 School Year
Seeking qualified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for multiple full-time school-based positions in Connecticut for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for RBTs who are passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in an educational setting.
Position Details

- Schedule: Monday–Friday

- Openings: Multiple RBT positions available
- Pay: $25.64–$30.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral support to students in a school-based setting.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data to monitor student progress.
- Assist students with developing communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support as needed.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive student outcomes.
- Support classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, and other related service providers.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment.
- Follow all district policies and procedures regarding student health, safety, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children in a school, ABA, or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow behavior support plans and collect accurate data.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
