Registered Behavior Technician in Broomfield, CO

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in a supportive, multi-disciplinary educational setting in the Broomfield, CO area. This position focuses on making a positive impact as a Registered Behavior Technician within a special education environment, helping students achieve growth both academically and behaviorally.

As part of a dedicated team at a middle school, you’ll collaborate closely with peer mentors, paraeducators, and specialists including BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychology/social work staff to provide comprehensive support for a class of 10 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active CDE license (or verifiable progress toward licensure); candidates cannot apply under a TEE
• At least one year of classroom experience is required
• Credentials as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Ability to be a flexible, reliable team player in a dynamic school setting
• Previous experience working in special education or with students requiring behavioral support

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions under BCBA guidance
• Support classroom learning and social/emotional skill development
• Document and track student progress; collaborate in team meetings
• Foster a safe, structured, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Liaise with support professionals, peer mentors, and families to promote student success

Schedule & Details:

• Onsite, full-time role (37.5 hours weekly; 35 hours paid plus 2.5 unpaid lunch hours)
• Contract runs through May 2027, offering long-term professional development
