Elementary Middle School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Bryan, Texas

Your dedication will empower students with behavioral needs to thrive in both specialized and inclusive classrooms. Assignments include supporting an elementary behavior program, as well as providing life skills support for students displaying more aggressive or challenging behaviors. Candidates with CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training or aggressive caseload experience are highly valued for the cross-campus/life skills component.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification and relevant experience required
• School-based experience highly desirable, but strong clinical or behavior experience (outside of school settings) will also be considered
• Experience supporting aggressive or high-needs student caseloads preferred, especially in life skills or cross-campus environments
• Familiarity with elementary, middle, or high school students is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 and small group behavior support services in accordance with students’ IEP and behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of interventions
• Maintain data collection, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students with behavior or life skills needs

Position Details:

• Full-time, contract assignment
• Typical hours: Monday–Friday from 7:15 am to 3:30 pm (may vary slightly)
• Assignment runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with strong potential for summer work and renewal
