High School Elementary Registered Behavior Technician in Bryan, TX

This contract opportunity focuses on providing essential behavioral support to elementary, middle, and high school students, enriching their educational experience and fostering positive change. Candidates will be considered for two vital areas: (1) Behavioral support in an elementary setting or (2) Cross-campus and Life Skills classrooms working with students who may present more aggressive behaviors—ideal for those with CPI certification or comparable experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience working with students in a behavioral or educational setting strongly preferred
• Experience in schools is a plus, but hands-on RBT or behavioral support background is crucial
• Experience managing aggressive behaviors or a CPI credential is highly valued for cross-campus/life skills assignments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and group behavioral interventions for students in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Collaborate with school staff to implement behavior plans and provide consistent support
• Foster a safe, supportive learning space for students with varying behavioral needs
• Support teachers and classroom staff in Life Skills classrooms, particularly with students exhibiting more intensive behaviors
• Maintain documentation and assist with progress monitoring
• Adapt to different classroom needs, including behavioral and life skills support across campus settings

This full-time contract position operates Monday through Friday, approximately 7:15am to 3:30pm (hours may flex slightly based on campus needs). The assignment runs for the remainder of the school year, with strong potential for renewal and summer session opportunities.
