Registered Behavior Technician - Burnet, TX

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential behavioral support to an elementary student in need of a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Key Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• SAMA certification necessary for student safety and crisis prevention
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those in 3rd grade
• Knowledge of and ability to implement individualized behavior intervention strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and school staff
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations

Main Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a GT high 3rd-grade male student during school hours (7:15 AM – 3:15 PM)
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, focusing on increasing positive behaviors and reducing attention-seeking tendencies
• Collect and document data on student behaviors, progress, and interventions
• Provide feedback to teachers and other school professionals regarding student progress
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment throughout the school day
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust strategies as needed, ensuring best outcomes for the student
