Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other behavioral needs in school or similar environments
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor
- Ability to collect data and document student progress accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in behavioral health, psychology, education, or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans and individualized strategies under supervision of a behavior analyst or special education team
- Provide 1:1 or group support for students during academic and non-academic activities
- Collect, record, and report data as directed to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with school staff and family members for goal setting and plan updates
- Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
- Support students in developing functional skills, self-regulation, and effective communication
