As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll play a vital role in fostering growth and independence for students ranging from kindergarten through high school. Key Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification and compliance with state regulatory standards
- Experience supporting students in educational settings, especially with grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12
- Exceptional communication skills, patience, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to follow prescribed behavior intervention plans and collect detailed data
- Flexibility to adapt strategies based on student needs
- High standard of professionalism and confidentiality
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral support to assigned students in a 1:1 format
- Implement and monitor evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Document student progress meticulously and maintain accurate records as required
- Provide feedback and insight to educational staff and families regarding student growth
- Contribute to interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate proactively with teachers, school psychologists, and other professionals
- Assist in developing classroom routines and fostering inclusion for students with unique needs
