Two engaging opportunities are available on a contract basis near Canton, MI, where you’ll be at the forefront of student development in dynamic educational settings.
Current openings include:
- 1:1 RBT role (37.5 hours/week) assisting a student at the elementary level, providing targeted support to help reach individualized goals.
- RBT for an ASD classroom (37.5 hours/week), collaborating with educators and specialists to implement evidence-based interventions for multiple students.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families.
- Familiarity with implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
- Reliability, patience, and adaptability in a school environment.
- Commitment to collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions according to prescribed plans.
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress accurately.
- Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and other educational staff.
- Provide support during classroom activities, transitions, and routines.
- Implement reinforcement systems and behavior reduction strategies as outlined.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for all students.
