Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working with children or students, preferably in schools or educational programs
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and follow individualized behavior intervention plans
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive student information
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement one-on-one or small-group ABA interventions as directed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect, record, and report data on student behavior and progress
- Support classroom management and reinforce positive behaviors throughout the school day
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
- Adapt strategies to fit the unique needs and goals of each student
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
