Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or behavioral settings
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to engage with students in a compassionate, patient, and supportive manner
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
  • Organizational abilities to track interventions and document progress

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Use data collection tools to monitor student progress and adjust approaches as needed
  • Provide direct support to students within classrooms and other school settings
  • Assist with skill development in areas such as communication, socialization, and coping strategies
  • Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA, teachers, and other school staff about student progress and needs
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of interventions and student behaviors
