K-5 Grades 9 - 12 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Cedar Hill, Texas

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children or adolescents, particularly in an educational setting
• Familiarity with grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12 student populations
• Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate positively with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in various classroom environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention and support aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs) or behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Collect accurate data on student behaviors and progress
• Implement strategies developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Offer support and guidance to promote students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
• Maintain clear and timely communication with school staff and families
• Assist with classroom management and participate in team meetings as needed
