Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Experience working with children and young adults with autism or related disorders is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, students, and families
- A passion for fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse classroom settings and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect, record, and summarize data on student behavior and progress
- Support students in meeting IEP goals, both inside and outside of the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other specialists to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Provide direct one-on-one and small group behavioral support
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance your ABA skills
