Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Central Falls, RI Area (5 Openings)
We are actively hiring 5 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 student support in a school-based setting in Central Falls, Rhode Island and surrounding areas, including Pawtucket, RI.
This is a full-time opportunity supporting students across K–12th grade, with immediate and upcoming school year needs.
Position Overview
RBTs will work directly with students to implement behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This role includes providing consistent, individualized support to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
Position Details
- Location: Central Falls, RI and surrounding areas (including Pawtucket, RI)
- Schedule: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
- Openings: 5 positions
- Setting: School-based (K–12)
- Support Type: 1:1 student support
Assignment Timeline
- Current School Year (CSY): ASAP – June 15, 2026
- Extended School Year (ESY): June 26 – July 30, 2026
- 2026–2027 School Year: Continued placement available
- Client will provide supervision during the 2026–2027 school year
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Must reside in Rhode Island
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and reliability
Licensing Requirement
- Candidates must either hold or obtain the RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) credential/exam
- Deadline: Must be completed before October 2026
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully pass a drug screening
- Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong punctuality required — must arrive on time and complete the full scheduled day
