Step into a rewarding contract position as a Registered Behavior Technician providing essential support to elementary students for the Fall 2026 semester. This opportunity, set near the vibrant Charlotte, NC area, offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference by working collaboratively with district Behavior Technicians and Aides. Engage in part-time work (20 hours per week) and play an integral role in delivering direct, individualized services to a small caseload of 5-6 students at the elementary level.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with elementary-age children is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with educators, aids, and families
  • Empathy, patience, and motivation to support positive student outcomes
  • Consistent professional reliability and organizational skills

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, one-on-one or small group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students
  • Collect data and monitor student progress as outlined in intervention plans
  • Collaborate effectively with district behavior teams, special education staff, and other RBTs
  • Assist in training and modeling behavioral strategies for classroom Aides
  • Participate in team meetings and offer insights to help shape ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student responses
