Registered Behavior Technician in Cheney, WA

Make a real impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under a contract opportunity in the Cheney, WA area. In this highly rewarding school-based role, you’ll provide crucial services to students with developmental or behavioral needs, working closely with educators and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help every child reach their potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience supporting children or adolescents in an educational or therapeutic setting preferred
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity
• Professional, organized, and flexible mindset
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, implementing behavior intervention strategies designed by BCBAs
• Collect and accurately record data on student progress and behavior
• Assist in developing and reinforcing positive behavioral supports
• Provide feedback and updates to supervising clinicians, teachers, and families as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized educational or behavior plans
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
