Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician in a vibrant school environment near Cicero, IL. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 27, 2026, to June 12, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8:15 am – 3:45 pm), including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks each day.
You’ll have the rewarding responsibility of working one-on-one with two students: one at the elementary level (grades K-4), and another at the middle school level (grades 7 and 8), providing targeted behavioral support and implementing effective strategies alongside school staff and specialists.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
- Minimum of two years of experience working as an RBT in a school-based setting
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and adolescents
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral interventions and monitor student progress
- Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
