Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Cicero, Illinois

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician! Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, offering the chance to make a lasting impact at local elementary campuses near Cicero, IL.

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 8:20 am – 3:20 pm
• Term: Start ASAP through winter break, with the potential to extend into the spring semester (evaluation in late November)
• Location: Two different elementary schools (grades K-4)
• Caseload focus: Each RBT will primarily support one kindergarten student in a self-contained classroom
• Openings: 2 positions available

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working in school settings, especially with young children
• Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Genuine passion for supporting student success in early childhood education
• Must be able to provide three professional references if offered a position

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral interventions and follow student-specific behavior plans
• Document progress and communicate updates to the supervising BCBA and educational team
• Promote skill-building, independence, and positive social interactions within the classroom
• Support a safe and structured environment tailored to each student's needs
• Participate in relevant training and ongoing professional development
