Make a real difference as a Registered Behavior Technician working directly with a 1st grade student in a vibrant general education classroom located near Woodland, CA. Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting positive outcomes for a young learner who needs focused, compassionate guidance. As a one-on-one RBT, you will closely collaborate with a BCBA and a dedicated paraprofessional, implementing a behavior intervention plan designed to address intense behaviors, support attention-seeking and avoidance, and facilitate meaningful progress over the duration of the contract.

What you'll bring:

  • Active RBT certification with current registration
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly those displaying intense behaviors
  • Proven understanding of implementing and tracking behavior intervention plans in a school environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, and support staff
  • Adaptability, patience, and a supportive approach in engaging young students

Your core responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized support to a 1st grade student in a general education setting
  • Collaborate closely with the BCBA on data collection and plan implementation
  • Support the paraprofessional and classroom staff, ensuring consistency in behavior strategies
  • Track student progress and provide clear, timely feedback to the school team
  • Foster a positive and structured environment to maximize student engagement and success

This assignment runs from ASAP through June 5, 2026, with a steady 35-hour workweek. You’ll enjoy competitive compensation between $30 and $45 an hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
