As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll join a collaborative educational environment near Citrus Heights, CA, working in a general education classroom and helping a young learner thrive, both academically and socially.

This contract position spans from ASAP through June 5, 2026, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule of 35 hours per week. You’ll work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement a comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) for a student demonstrating intense behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance. With the added support of a dedicated paraeducator, you’ll be a key advocate in guiding this student toward positive outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience supporting children with intense behavioral needs, especially in a school or similar setting
• Understanding of Behavior Intervention Plans and data collection
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with BCBAs, paraprofessionals, and school staff
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism, empathy, and patience day-to-day

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral support to a first-grade student within a general education classroom
• Collaborate with the BCBA to faithfully implement and document progress on the BIP
• Utilize positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies tailored to individual needs
• Engage in ongoing communication with the educational team to adjust interventions as necessary

In this role, you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate between $30 and $45, allowing you to feel valued for your specialized skills and dedication.
