In this rewarding contract opportunity, you’ll provide direct support to students within an educational setting, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Paraprofessional. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RBT certification required
- Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, or Behavior Specialist in school or clinical settings preferred
- Proficient in implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA or school psychologist
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Ability to foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for students with behavioral or developmental challenges
- High level of patience, reliability, and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, or learning challenges through data-driven interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure cohesive support
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavior
- Reinforce positive behaviors and assist with the development of social and academic skills
- Support classroom routines and provide individualized attention as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain student dignity at all times
